Leupold Product Service

If your Leupold product fails to perform in any way, please contact a Leupold Product Specialist within our technical service department to determine if the problem can be solved without sending the product to Leupold.

Many times, the problem can be solved without sending the scope to us. Leupold technical service will assist you with the problem in the best and most efficient manner.

If we do need you to send the product in for service, please follow the instructions identified below.

Please follow these steps when sending any product to Leupold Product Service:

1. Remove mounting rings, covers, and all other accessories from the product.
2. Record the serial number of the product and keep it where you can find it if needed.
3. Include a note with the product indicating the reason the product is being sent.
4. Make certain that your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail (if applicable) are included in the note.
5. If possible, ship the product in its original packaging, as this is the safest method.
6. Be sure to wrap the package securely and use filament strapping tape on the outside.
7. If possible, ship by a traceable parcel service. Please insure the shipment against loss.

Golden Ring Life Time Warranty

Leupold and Stevens, Inc. is an American, family-owned, fifth-generation company that has been designing, machining, and assembling precision optical instruments for 100 years. Leupold’s® success has been built on our commitment to your absolute satisfaction, and our commitment to building the best optics for the shooting sports and for the law enforcement / military community. It’s for these reasons that we offer the Leupold Full Lifetime Guarantee.

If any Leupold Golden Ring® product is found to have defects in materials or workmanship, we will, at our option, repair or replace it. FREE. Even if you are not the original owner. No warranty card is required. No time limit applies.

Golden Ring Electronics Warranty

The electronics in illuminated riflescopes, Leupold MX Series flashlights, and flashlight components are covered by the Leupold Golden Ring® Electronics Warranty, and are protected from defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.

Certain special purpose products are covered by specific warranties in regard to their own individual features.

Green Ring Limited Life Time Warranty

Leupold® Green Ring™ optics are engineered and manufactured to standards set and monitored by Leupold, with the goal of reliable performance at a reasonable price.

Leupold Green Ring non-electronic products are warranted for as long as the original owner owns them. We warrant them to be free of defects in materials and workmanship, and to function satisfactorily under normal use conditions. If at any time a Leupold Green Ring non-electronic product is found to have a defect in materials or workmanship, Leupold will, at our discretion, repair or replace it free of charge, when requested by the original owner.

Warranty is void if damage results from unauthorized repair, alteration, or misuse. Warranty is given solely to the original owner and is not transferable.

Green Ring Electronics Warranty

Leupold® Green Ring™ electronics optics are engineered and manufactured to standards set and monitored by Leupold, with the goal of reliable performance at a reasonable price.

Leupold RX® Series digital laser rangefinders and the RXB™-IV laser range finding binocular are warranted by the Leupold Green Ring Electronics Warranty, and are protected from defects in materials and workmanship for TWO YEARS (RX-III, RX-IV, and RXB-IV models) or ONE YEAR (RX-1000, RX-600 and RX-750 models) from the date of purchase.

Warranty is void if damage results from unauthorized repair, alteration, or misuse. Warranty is given solely to the original owner and are not transferable.

Leupold® Mark 4®, Mark 2®, Mark AR™, and Tactical Optical Warranty
